The inability to read or write destines the lower caste to poverty and leaves them on the brink of starvation. We are excited to share that because of generous donors we were able to start 6 adult literacy classes in the most poor and low caste villages of Punjab, where uneducated people will be taught how to read and write in Punjabi. In each class there will be 30 people and one teacher. The class will be for two hours from Monday to Saturday. We will have one-year long classes in six villages then we will shift these adult literacy classes to other villages. We handed out 6 tables and chairs, 6 white boards, 6 carpets for the students to sit on, 180 slats for writing, 6 emergency lights and 180 books. Your donation would allow us to add more classes. We also need $25 a month commitments to pay the teachers. We have two donors and need four more.

Dear Pastor Greg Young G, we thank and Praise God that we had a very blessed Literacy School inauguration meeting, where we had only invited the 6 literacy teachers with their 6 pastors. In this meeting though, more than 120 people came to support the launch, which was unexpected. We thank God that we could by God’s grace make arrangements to handle all of them. Pastor Greg Young G preached that how important for everyone to be literate so that they can know God through understanding the Word. That through the study of the Word we receive the knowledge to confirm in our hearts and minds what has been done through His Spirit, that we are sanctified and justified through Jesus Christ. Pastor Greg Young G encouraged all the teachers that they are going to be doing a big task that God has entrusted to them. We all were so blessed with God’s word that was shared. Pastor Greg Young G also prayed for all the teachers, pastors and those in attendances. So many people were filled with Holy Spirit and delivered from the evil spirits attacks like oppression and disturbances in the family. Two people were healed from back pain, one sister had arm pain, and God healed her. One Teacher was healed from neck pain which she had for one year, God healed her instantly. One Sister was delivered from an issue of blood. When she came to the meeting, she had had bleeding for between 15 to17 days. In the meeting she continued to have the bleeding issue, but when we were praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit touched her, and her bleeding stopped instantly. All glory to God!! After the meeting we distributed literacy classroom materials to all the teachers and sent them out with the prayer of Pastor Greg Young G. After that we served the food to all attendees.
